The Deportivo Peñarol FIFV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ladislao Mazurkiewicz should have stopped the shot. Ladislao Mazurkiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danas Niauronis in the 7th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the game, Juan Manuel Olivera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Geležinis Vilkas the free kick. In the 8th minute, Juan Manuel Olivera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rupertas Laurinavičius might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ladislao Mazurkiewicz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rupertas Laurinavičius ran back to his position shaking his head. Ladislao Mazurkiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danas Niauronis in the 13th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Cresenciano Romillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 14 minutes of play, Geležinis Vilkas's Rupertas Laurinavičius made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ladislao Mazurkiewicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Geležinis Vilkas were furious when Vidmantas Bieliauskas was red carded, 27 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 27 played minutes Geležinis Vilkas got a freekick which was hit by Vidmantas Bieliauskas. When Juan Manuel Olivera came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Deportivo Peñarol FIFV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Manuel Olivera couldn't finish the play. Juozas Zelmikas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tristan Alderete went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's Ladislao Mazurkiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rupertas Laurinavičius in the 37th minute of play. Rupertas Laurinavičius took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ladislao Mazurkiewicz. Ladislao Mazurkiewicz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Ladislao Mazurkiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justinas Paliūnas in the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Algitas Sadauskas in the 43rd minute of play forced Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's goalkeeper Ladislao Mazurkiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's Fabián Estoyanoff ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Juozas Zelmikas. Juozas Zelmikas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. The Deportivo Peñarol FIFV players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Geležinis Vilkas were winning 2-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tristan Alderete was the one to do the kick off. Rupertas Laurinavičius in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ladislao Mazurkiewicz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 55th minute Zhang Cheng Ping shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juozas Zelmikas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Tristan Alderete had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juozas Zelmikas. Geležinis Vilkas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tristan Alderete was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Algitas Sadauskas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Mazurkiewicz having to interfere. The Geležinis Vilkas supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Geležinis Vilkas would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
