The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Landulfos FC's Chesus Alcocer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Soeiro in the 4th minute of play. Yuri Ventura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Martins in the 5th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Sergio Martins's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yuri Ventura was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. In the 10th minute, Anselmo Veríssimo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yuri Ventura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Martins in the 11th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sergio Martins in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yuri Ventura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Landulfos FC booed when Andarilhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Guimarães didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vicente Antunes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Yuri Ventura. Andarilhos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Landulfos FC's Chesus Alcocer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Seabra in the 20th minute of play. In the 46th minute Viriato Seabra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chesus Alcocer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arlindo Vargas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Yuri Ventura made a huge save. In the 60th minute, Arlindo Vargas made a precise shot to the right of Yuri Ventura. Andarilhos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Landulfos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Carlos Linares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Andarilhos getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. João Trindade hit a great ball. Sergio Martins's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Yuri Ventura skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Chesus Alcocer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Guimarães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Sergio Martins sped through Andarilhos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yuri Ventura. After 94 played minutes Landulfos FC got a freekick which was hit by Albertinho Castro.
