In the 6th minute, Alvin Bergfelt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Oskar Nykvist in the 11th minute of play forced Andarilhos's goalkeeper Yuri Ventura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Andarilhos's corner Jairo Soeiro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arne Kilström quite easily take care of the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Andarilhos's Plácido Pimentel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arne Kilström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. AIK FOTBOLL's Per-Oskar Nykvist got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, Per-Oskar Nykvist notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Andarilhos's Yuri Ventura. Yuri Ventura was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Morgan Blom to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Per-Oskar Nykvist in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yuri Ventura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62nd minute Olov Deckberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Ventura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Per-Oskar Nykvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yuri Ventura was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. In the 65th minute, Per-Oskar Nykvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. AIK FOTBOLL made a substitution. AIK FOTBOLL's Arne Kilström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Seabra in the 77th minute of play. In the 81st minute Fredrik Axelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Ventura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fredrik Axelsson in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yuri Ventura saved Andarilhos from getting behind. After 84 minutes, Fredrik Axelsson made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Andarilhos's Yuri Ventura tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Yuri Ventura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andréas Fransson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yuri Ventura came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by AIK FOTBOLL's Fredrik Axelsson. But to his dismay, Fredrik Axelsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Andarilhos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
