The supporters of Alvarado de Mar del Plata booed when C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Astigar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvio Benino made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Fernando Sabin sent off a good shot on target. Silvio Benino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Rito in the 18th minute of the match. Tadeo Asier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Victor Chago got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute of the match Alvarado de Mar del Plata got a corner. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fernando Sabin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Damian Rito hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Alvarado de Mar del Plata's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arnoldo Garin took the corner. The supporters of C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ booed when Alvarado de Mar del Plata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. After 46 minutes of play, Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Damian Rito made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvio Benino was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 57th minute, Paulo Argi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvio Benino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Sabin, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisco Merexildo during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st match minute, Alvarado de Mar del Plata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Merexildo to maneuver through the defense. Leonardo Astigar had several of the Alvarado de Mar del Plata's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 67 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Segundo Laurendi as he didn't even see the shot coming. The supporters of Alvarado de Mar del Plata booed when C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Lano didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Fernando Sabin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Silvio Benino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Rito in the 91st minute of play. After some careless play in the Alvarado de Mar del Plata defense, Tomas Gabirel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Segundo Laurendi. The Alvarado de Mar del Plata fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Segundo Laurendi should have stopped the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
