Arthur Lago came out of the goal and Jorge Cai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 22 played minutes Bonival got a freekick which was hit by Leandro da Fonseca. Bonival's Arthur Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Gabirel in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christiano Ramalho in the 36th minute of play forced C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's goalkeeper Silvio Benino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christiano Ramalho in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvio Benino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Tomas Gabirel managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Gabirel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arthur Lago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silvio Benino made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Christiano Ramalho sent off a good shot on target. Silvio Benino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christiano Ramalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Leandro da Fonseca charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
