When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Paco Cabedo sped through Laziali's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nikola Drinov. Nikola Drinov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. If Jude Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paco Cabedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikola Drinov having to interfere. Diyan Kontev's late challenge caught a CRUZ DEL SUR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diyan Kontev helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd minute Paco Cabedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikola Drinov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doncho Tzvetkov charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Doncho Tzvetkov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paco Cabedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of CRUZ DEL SUR booed when Laziali was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radomir Groshkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. 51 minutes into the match, Laziali's goalkeeper Nikola Drinov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan María Maeztu. In the 52ndth minute of the game Jude Cruz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laziali's Nikola Drinov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. CRUZ DEL SUR's Paco Cabedo got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CRUZ DEL SUR's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Paco Cabedo in the 58th minute. CRUZ DEL SUR made a substitution. Vid Murgelj replaced Francisco Cruz. The supporters of Laziali booed when CRUZ DEL SUR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Pedro Owen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Argir Fikov in the 93rd minute of play forced CRUZ DEL SUR's goalkeeper Juan Pedro Owen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Laziali supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching CRUZ DEL SUR's performance. The match ended with a win for CRUZ DEL SUR.
