The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Canarinho Atordoado's zone, Edi Cavani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Dito Zanette managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canarinho Atordoado's supporters rose to their feet, but Dito Zanette was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tadeo Laurgain breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 7thth minute of the game Henri Martins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Defensores de Lombroso's Tadeo Laurgain was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Diego Latorre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute Natal Quintanilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luís Menegatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edi Cavani in the 19th minute of play forced Canarinho Atordoado's goalkeeper Pedro Luís Menegatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Defensores de Lombroso's goal looked a bit too open when Henri Martins came free, but Tadeo Laurgain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Luís Menegatti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lin Liang's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Tiago Gabriel Luz charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 25th minute Diego Latorre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luís Menegatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andres Matteo hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Canarinho Atordoado's Tiago Gabriel Luz got a free kick in the 28th minute. Pedro Luís Menegatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Latorre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Luís Menegatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Latorre, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Elói Azevedo hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Edi Cavani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute, Régis Abraão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the game, Diego Latorre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Defensores de Lombroso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canarinho Atordoado the free kick. After a rather tough play, Defensores de Lombroso's Diego Latorre got a free kick in the 37th minute. The Canarinho Atordoado players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Defensores de Lombroso were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Dito Zanette made the kick off in the second half. In the 71st match minute, Defensores de Lombroso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Latorre to maneuver through the defense. Tadeo Laurgain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dito Zanette, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Defensores de Lombroso's goal looked a bit too open when Dito Zanette came free, but Tadeo Laurgain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dito Zanette kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Cauã Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 92 played minutes Defensores de Lombroso got a freekick which was hit by Natal Quintanilla. Pedro Luís Menegatti was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Natal Quintanilla showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 94 minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Defensores de Lombroso walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
