When Luca Enciu fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's protests and gave Luca Enciu a yellow card for diving instead. 13 minutes into the match, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's goal looked a bit too open when Randall Jaramillo came free, but Ioan Papadima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dominic Connelly struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Ioan Papadima didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Recolta Alamor. 22 minutes into the match, Cristinel Patriciu notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Recolta Alamor's Dylan Beckman. Dylan Beckman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudiu Volosin during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th minute, Claudiu Volosin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Claudiu Volosin was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 27 minutes had been played. A collision led to GoooooooooooooooooooooooL getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Claudiu Volosin hit a great ball. When Răzvan Gugulanu fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's protests and gave Răzvan Gugulanu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Răzvan Gugulanu got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Norberto Ivey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ioan Papadima having to make a save. After 44 played minutes Recolta Alamor got a freekick which was hit by Rex Ellis. If Luca Enciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luca Enciu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Cristinel Patriciu got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tuan Mason hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Enciu in the 63rd minute of play forced Recolta Alamor's goalkeeper Dylan Beckman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Dinu Slicaru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Dylan Beckman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dylan Beckman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Enciu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Recolta Alamor booed when GoooooooooooooooooooooooL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinu Slicaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cristinel Patriciu came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the GoooooooooooooooooooooooL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristinel Patriciu couldn't finish the play. Cristinel Patriciu kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match.
