Pedro Luís Menegatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nathan Kempf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Scott Ringeli was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 4 minutes into the match. Scott Ringeli hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute, Benedito Baiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kevin Trapp was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henri Martins in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kevin Trapp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arne De Souza got free with Pedro Luís Menegatti in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, B68 Toftir's Rick Parizeau got a free kick in the 25th minute. After some careless play in the B68 Toftir defense, Dito Zanette kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kevin Trapp. The B68 Toftir fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kevin Trapp should have stopped the shot. Canarinho Atordoado's Pedro Luís Menegatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomáš Čvančara in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dito Zanette in the 41st minute of play forced B68 Toftir's goalkeeper Kevin Trapp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Canarinho Atordoado getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Henri Martins hit a great ball. Canarinho Atordoado's Pedro Luís Menegatti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Canarinho Atordoado from getting a goal against them. After the first half Canarinho Atordoado were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomáš Čvančara was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th match minute, B68 Toftir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rick Parizeau to maneuver through the defense. Benedito Baiano shot from long distance in the 56th minute, but Kevin Trapp was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Pedro Luís Menegatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomáš Čvančara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 played minutes Canarinho Atordoado got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei do Vale. Leon Goretzka's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Luís Menegatti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. After 74 minutes of play, B68 Toftir's Dimitri Faber made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Luís Menegatti was left in no man's land by his defense there! B68 Toftir's Kevin Trapp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henri Martins in the 78th minute of play. B68 Toftir's Nathan Kempf suffered a concussion after 78 minutes and had to leave the field. When Tiago Gabriel Luz fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canarinho Atordoado's protests and gave Tiago Gabriel Luz a yellow card for diving instead. B68 Toftir made a substitution. Scipio Canclini replaced Nathan Kempf. Tiago Gabriel Luz hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. B68 Toftir's Kevin Trapp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henri Martins in the 82nd minute of play. Arne De Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cauã Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Kevin Trapp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henri Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, B68 Toftir's goal looked a bit too open when Henri Martins came free, but Kevin Trapp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Luís Menegatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomáš Čvančara, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Canarinho Atordoado supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Canarinho Atordoado would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
