A nice corner shot did that Diego Latorre got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ambrosio Quilino quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Marlin FC booed when Defensores de Lombroso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Hunfredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Derwin in the 18th minute of play forced Defensores de Lombroso's goalkeeper Tadeo Laurgain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute Edi Cavani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosio Quilino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, José Luis Cucciufo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Ignacio Derwin made a precise shot to the right of Tadeo Laurgain. Defensores de Lombroso's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Tadeo Laurgain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Orti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Natal Quintanilla stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edi Cavani kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. A collision led to Marlin FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Ignacio Derwin hit a great ball. Ignacio Derwin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Tadeo Laurgain skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ambrosio Quilino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samuel Cruz went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Marlin FC's Pablo Orti got a free kick in the 88th minute. Natal Quintanilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Domingo Jon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the match, Marlin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Natal Quintanilla came free, but Ambrosio Quilino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Defensores de Lombroso had won after a very even match.
