The crowd rose to their feet as GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Dinu Slicaru slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Olle Tunander. That made the score 1-4 after 51 minutes of play. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Ioan Papadima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfons Delin in the 56th minute of play. Dinu Slicaru kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Ioan Papadima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerry Fristedt in the 66th minute of the match. The throw-in from Petre Pășcuțoiu in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by VfL Wolfsburg's Kenneth Wallander. The GoooooooooooooooooooooooL supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing GoooooooooooooooooooooooL would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
