The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s goalkeeper Bogdan Volosin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 4th minute, Dan Marica hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th match minute, ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cătălin Mitică to maneuver through the defense. Kryspin Bambas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 11 minutes into the game, Dan Marica was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★ the free kick. The supporters of ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★ booed when ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Marica didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Kryspin Bambas put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bogdan Volosin. Stefan Klawke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codrin Turbatu in the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s goalkeeper Bogdan Volosin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kryspin Bambas. 24 minutes into the match, ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Codrin Turbatu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stefan Klawke narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 27 minutes of play, ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s Marvelous Ronaldinho made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bogdan Volosin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice moves Kryspin Bambas could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Bogdan Volosin however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★ booed when ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tudor Feroiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bogdan Volosin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marvelous Ronaldinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute Marvelous Ronaldinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Volosin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bartosz Bednorz hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Vlad Jugănaru charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vlad Jugănaru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Vlad Jugănaru hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Marvelous Ronaldinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bogdan Volosin was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kryspin Bambas to make the kick off. Bogdan Volosin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marvelous Ronaldinho in the 51st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bartosz Bednorz in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bogdan Volosin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bogdan Volosin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kryspin Bambas's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s Slawomir Banach got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariusz Kajdasz in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bogdan Volosin saved ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codrin Turbatu in the 69th minute of play forced ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s goalkeeper Stefan Klawke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Bogdan Volosin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kryspin Bambas in the 72nd minute of play. Cristian Pricop could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Stefan Klawke made a huge save. In the 77th minute, Kryspin Bambas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stefan Klawke made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Gigi Stanciu sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute Kryspin Bambas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Volosin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s goal looked a bit too open when Mariusz Kajdasz came free, but Bogdan Volosin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dan Marica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stefan Klawke stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Codrin Turbatu's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marvelous Ronaldinho in the 93rd minute of play forced ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s goalkeeper Bogdan Volosin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s Stefan Klawke proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★ from getting a goal against them. Mariusz Kajdasz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Bogdan Volosin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
