In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galja Kraków's goalkeeper Jaroslaw Lichniak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Slawomir Szpakowski struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Gigel Gorgan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galja Kraków. Marcu Voitiş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 26 played minutes Galja Kraków got a freekick which was hit by Hieronim Piatek. Slawomir Szpakowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gigel Gorgan having to interfere. Marcu Voitiş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute Marcu Voitiş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaroslaw Lichniak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcu Voitiş struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Jaroslaw Lichniak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MIT. 45 minutes into the game, Sabin Eniceicu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MIT's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galja Kraków the free kick. A collision led to MIT getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Sabin Eniceicu hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcu Voitiş to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emil Glodeanu got free with Jaroslaw Lichniak in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 56 minutes into the match, Sebastian Hodyl had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gigel Gorgan. MIT's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Hodyl was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Jaroslaw Lichniak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebiu Siniştean in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Galja Kraków's Slawomir Szpakowski got a free kick in the 59th minute. Tolek Dziewedik hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Galja Kraków's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebiu Siniştean came free, but Jaroslaw Lichniak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Sebastian Hodyl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gigel Gorgan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. MIT made a substitution. Grigore Rizescu replaced Lucian Mangra. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebiu Siniştean in the 73rd minute of play forced Galja Kraków's goalkeeper Jaroslaw Lichniak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaroslaw Lichniak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebiu Siniştean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to MIT getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Petre Prislop hit a great ball. After 82 played minutes Galja Kraków got a freekick which was hit by Radoslaw Oryniak. In the 83rd minute, Marcu Voitiş got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Remus Chilian kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Galja Kraków's Mariusz Dzierwa couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 90th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for MIT. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Galja Kraków fans cheered their team off the field, for while MIT had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
