Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damaso Rencio in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Delmiro Pitin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alejo Gaspard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Lucila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute Narciso Ederono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejo Gaspard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Apolo Geofredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Cervezanegra A.C. booed when Luganeros AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Gartxot didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 19 played minutes Luganeros AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Eyague. Cornelio Eyague's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Delmiro Pitin firmly grabbed it by the left post. Delmiro Pitin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damaso Rencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Damaso Rencio hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Delmiro Pitin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damaso Rencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40thth minute of the game Damaso Rencio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cervezanegra A.C.'s Delmiro Pitin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 43rd match minute, Cervezanegra A.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiburcio Llorian to maneuver through the defense. Alejo Gaspard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiburcio Llorian, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Alejo Gaspard made an important save on a dangerous shot by Narciso Ederono in the 56th minute. Cervezanegra A.C. were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Luganeros AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tiburcio Llorian took the corner. Tiburcio Llorian made a great header on Cervezanegra A.C.'s corner, it was just that Luganeros AFC's Alejo Gaspard managed to reach the ball for a save. 59 minutes into the match, Luganeros AFC's goalkeeper Alejo Gaspard had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Everardo Sotero. Everardo Sotero who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Alejo Gaspard when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Delmiro Pitin came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Luganeros AFC's Damaso Rencio. But to his dismay, Damaso Rencio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Cervezanegra A.C.'s Fabricio Cordario was substituted for Narciso Ederono. Delmiro Pitin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelio Eyague, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Jax who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Alejo Gaspard when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the Luganeros AFC defense, Marco Jax kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alejo Gaspard. The Luganeros AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alejo Gaspard should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Luganeros AFC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Damaso Rencio hit a great ball. Luganeros AFC's Esteve Tono got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, Luganeros AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Jax came free, but Alejo Gaspard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 97 minutes on the clock, Hugo Joanes commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 96th minute of the game. One of Cervezanegra A.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Luganeros AFC:s goal. Fabricio Blanco shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Cervezanegra A.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
