In the 32nd minute, Vicente Depino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Zunbeltz Inchaurdi made the kick off in the second half. In the 96th minute Bottero Ramallal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Witalis Obuchowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Depino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Witalis Obuchowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Inter de Guayaquil FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
