Luganeros AFC's Alejo Gaspard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Luganeros AFC from getting a goal against them. 7 minutes into the match, Luganeros AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Du Sausois came free, but Alejo Gaspard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Luganeros AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Douglas Debecker was slow to take the kick. During this time Limburg United's players had a chance to rest. Limburg United's Douglas Debecker was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alejo Gaspard in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 10 minutes into the game, Limburg United's Simon Du Sausois nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alejo Gaspard made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Alejo Gaspard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Debecker in the 12th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Limburg United defense, Ermegildo Jobo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leo van Goetsenhoven. The Limburg United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leo van Goetsenhoven should have stopped the shot. Ermegildo Jobo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leo van Goetsenhoven read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th play minute Simon Du Sausois came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alejo Gaspard. 3-1. In the 31st minute Ermegildo Jobo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo van Goetsenhoven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Douglas Debecker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Alejo Gaspard made a huge save. The throw-in from Qwinten Waeberghe in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Luganeros AFC's Esteve Tono. The supporters of Luganeros AFC booed when Limburg United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Qwinten Waeberghe didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Du Sausois in the 44th minute of play forced Luganeros AFC's goalkeeper Alejo Gaspard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Domenec kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ermegildo Jobo to make the kick off. After having played for 50 minutes, Douglas Debecker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Limburg United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Douglas Debecker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carmelo Jokin during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 52 played minutes Luganeros AFC got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Jokin. In the 55th minute, Douglas Debecker made a precise shot to the right of Alejo Gaspard. Luganeros AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Limburg United's Leo van Goetsenhoven proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Limburg United from getting a goal against them. Alejo Gaspard stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Louis-Philippe Leyman's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. After a rather tough play, Luganeros AFC's Esteve Tono got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Douglas Debecker notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Luganeros AFC's Alejo Gaspard. Alejo Gaspard was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Luganeros AFC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Aldo Arlo hit a great ball. After 80 played minutes Luganeros AFC got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Txurio. Douglas Debecker struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Alejo Gaspard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Limburg United. Luganeros AFC's Alejo Gaspard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Debecker in the 85th minute of play.
