Cornelio Cresencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hubert Villa having to interfere. The supporters of FC Unterrudling booed when CA Trapito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Cresencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, CA Trapito's goal looked a bit too open when Steven Novak came free, but Ernesto Osasun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernesto Osasun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brandon Steinmetz in the 25th minute. A collision led to CA Trapito getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Honorato Diagur hit a great ball. Benjamin Schürhoff took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ernesto Osasun. CA Trapito's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, CA Trapito's goalkeeper Ernesto Osasun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin Schürhoff. A collision led to FC Unterrudling getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Dustin Braun hit a great ball. Ernesto Osasun made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Brandon Steinmetz sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th minute of the match, Brandon Steinmetz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ernesto Osasun saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

CA Trapito's Ernesto Osasun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jude Bellingham in the 51st minute of play. In the 54th minute Jude Bellingham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Osasun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernesto Osasun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jude Bellingham in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, CA Trapito's Jose Romildo got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute, Benjamin Schürhoff left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Unterrudling fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. CA Trapito made a substitution. Silverio Mirande replaced Cornelio Cresencio. After 74 played minutes CA Trapito got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Diagur. Brandon Steinmetz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Ernesto Osasun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, FC Unterrudling's goalkeeper Hubert Villa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silverio Mirande. After some careless play in the FC Unterrudling defense, Dionisio Cidro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hubert Villa. The FC Unterrudling fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hubert Villa should have stopped the shot. Hans-Jürgen Stegelmeier hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. FC Unterrudling's Hubert Villa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save FC Unterrudling from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Brandon Steinmetz managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Unterrudling's supporters rose to their feet, but Brandon Steinmetz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Osasun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silverio Mirande's late challenge caught a FC Unterrudling's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silverio Mirande helped the player get up and apologised. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
