The player immediately received a yellow card. After 4 played minutes AF CERRADO got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Schmidt. Dick Hedlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute, Richard Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Sparka & Spring BK's Dan Holmgren got a free kick in the 15th minute. A hard shot by Richard Travassos from long distance, 16 minutes into the match, got Göran Västberg's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A collision led to AF CERRADO getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Artur Sergipano hit a great ball. In the 18th match minute, Sparka & Spring BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Verner Markusson to maneuver through the defense. Kaká Goiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Göran Västberg made a huge save. After some careless play in the AF CERRADO defense, Dick Hedlund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sandrinho Sabóia. The AF CERRADO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sandrinho Sabóia should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvald Brogren in the 36th minute of play forced AF CERRADO's goalkeeper Sandrinho Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven-Edvin Dahlbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandrinho Sabóia having to interfere. AF CERRADO's Sandrinho Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvald Brogren in the 41st minute of play. After the first half Sparka & Spring BK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Osvald Brogren to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Kaká Goiano notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Sparka & Spring BK's Göran Västberg. Göran Västberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dick Hedlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osvald Brogren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Sandrinho Sabóia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sandrinho Sabóia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dick Hedlund in the 66th minute. A collision led to AF CERRADO getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Tomás Schmidt hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dick Hedlund got free with Sandrinho Sabóia in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 70 minutes into the game, Joel Gerber was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AF CERRADO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sparka & Spring BK the free kick. In the 70th match minute, AF CERRADO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Gerber to maneuver through the defense. Verner Markusson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Osvald Brogren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Sparka & Spring BK booed when AF CERRADO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Sergipano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Sparka & Spring BK's goal looked a bit too open when Kaká Goiano came free, but Göran Västberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Kaká Goiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Göran Västberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Erubiel Resto hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sparka & Spring BK's zone, Kaká Goiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Göran Västberg came out of the goal and Kaká Goiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Artur Sergipano hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Sparka & Spring BK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
