AF CERRADO's Sandrinho Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ziemowit Budrewicz in the 3rd minute of play. Ziemowit Budrewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ziemowit Budrewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of AF CERRADO booed when White Star Troopers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Korneliusz Moizuk didn't get a good kick on the ball. White Star Troopers's Fryderyk Huk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaká Goiano in the 26th minute of play. When Kaká Goiano got free in front of the goal in the 26th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Fryderyk Huk was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Armandinho de Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zé Roberto Matos in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fryderyk Huk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fryderyk Huk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Schmidt in the 37th minute of play. After 40 minutes of play, AF CERRADO's Zé Roberto Matos made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fryderyk Huk was left in no man's land by his defense there! 48 minutes into the match, White Star Troopers's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Roberto Matos came free, but Fryderyk Huk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Norbert Karp to strike the kick off in the second half. With 53 minutes on the clock, Cacá Urbano commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of AF CERRADO:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of White Star Troopers:s goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sylwester Luty in the 62nd minute of play forced AF CERRADO's goalkeeper Sandrinho Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norbert Karp in the 63rd minute of play forced AF CERRADO's goalkeeper Sandrinho Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Norbert Karp struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Sandrinho Sabóia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for White Star Troopers. Renatinho Leal's late challenge caught a White Star Troopers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Renatinho Leal helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of White Star Troopers booed when AF CERRADO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renatinho Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Ziemowit Budrewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sandrinho Sabóia. AF CERRADO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ziemowit Budrewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. If Ziemowit Budrewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Mentis hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute of the match Richard Travassos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fryderyk Huk showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of AF CERRADO booed when White Star Troopers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lech Balonek didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the match, AF CERRADO's Richard Travassos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Fryderyk Huk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaká Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. AF CERRADO's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Richard Travassos in the 85th minute. The corner led AF CERRADO's Joel Gerber to fire away a dangerous shot which Fryderyk Huk despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, White Star Troopers could leave the field as winners, despite AF CERRADO having more of the ball for most of the match.
