When Marciano Precioso fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Estudiantes de América's protests and gave Marciano Precioso a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes Estudiantes de América got a freekick which was hit by Marciano Precioso. Flavio Nuñez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miroslaw Poteralski in the 36th minute. Flavio Nuñez was a little too slow when Fryderyk Walicki got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 4-0. Prospero Abadia hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. If Tymoteusz Kinic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Izydor Hajduk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Nuñez having to interfere. Estudiantes de América's Flavio Nuñez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Estudiantes de América from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Estudiantes de América's Octavio Bitxintxo was substituted for Bernardo Quiroga. The supporters of Estudiantes de América booed when FK Husaria Bielsko-Biala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fryderyk Walicki didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Octavio Bitxintxo came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Estudiantes de América fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octavio Bitxintxo couldn't finish the play. But to his dismay, Antoni Chowaniec quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. In the 79th match minute, Estudiantes de América was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prospero Abadia to maneuver through the defense. Flavio Nuñez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miroslaw Poteralski, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute.
