Xandeco FC's Dino Amorim got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Luzea came free, but Flavio Nuñez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Dino Amorim came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Xandeco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dino Amorim couldn't finish the play. Prospero Abadia kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Estudiantes de América's Flavio Nuñez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Amorim in the 16th minute of play. In the 23rd minute of the match, Dino Amorim tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Flavio Nuñez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Estudiantes de América's Flavio Nuñez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Amorim in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Estudiantes de América's Isaias Caetano got a free kick in the 33rd minute. A hard shot 35 in the game by Melik Settar from a close distance when the talented Flavio Nuñez managed to make a qualified save. Estudiantes de América's players were relieved. Enio Ceresso received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Flavio Nuñez came out and tried to block the shot, but Enio Ceresso slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Bautista in the 41st minute of play forced Xandeco FC's goalkeeper Krama Bollen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Estudiantes de América's Flavio Nuñez got control of the ball when Melik Settar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Estudiantes de América's Flavio Nuñez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Luzea in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Estudiantes de América's Octavio Bitxintxo was substituted for Bernardo Quiroga. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Melik Settar made a kick off. Gustavo Bautista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's goal looked a bit too open when Dino Amorim came free, but Flavio Nuñez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Nuñez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melik Settar in the 61st minute of the match. Krama Bollen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Bitxintxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Gustavo Bautistas short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Krama Bollen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jeremias Luzea's late challenge caught a Estudiantes de América's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeremias Luzea helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th match minute, Xandeco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Luzea to maneuver through the defense. If Enio Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's goal looked a bit too open when Enio Ceresso came free, but Flavio Nuñez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Nuñez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Amorim in the 81st minute of play. The supporters of Estudiantes de América booed when Xandeco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Luzea didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Octavio Bitxintxo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estudiantes de América's supporters rose to their feet, but Octavio Bitxintxo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Krama Bollen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Gustavo Bautista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Krama Bollen was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Krama Bollen came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Estudiantes de América's Gustavo Bautista. But to his dismay, Gustavo Bautista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
