After having played for 24 minutes, Dino Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xandeco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dino Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Errecaborda AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teo Lico should have stopped the shot. In the 36th match minute, Xandeco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geraldo Palmeira to maneuver through the defense. In the 38thth minute of the game Melik Settar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Errecaborda AFC's Teo Lico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 40thth minute of the game Lucio Faro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xandeco FC's Krama Bollen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Jeremias Luzea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Melik Settar was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Errecaborda AFC's Javier Peter got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 56th minute of the game, Geraldo Palmeira landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Enio Ceresso kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Xandeco FC's Guilherme da Mata was substituted for Douglas Severo. The supporters of Errecaborda AFC booed when Xandeco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enio Ceresso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Krama Bollen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Iigo in the 82nd minute of play.
