After a defensive mix-up in Errecaborda AFC's zone, Cândido Machado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teo Lico came out of the goal and Cândido Machado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Esquadrão Lusitano's Vítor Damas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Eztebe in the 78th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Cândido Machado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Esquadrão Lusitano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. Errecaborda AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Luís Santana scored to the left of an out of position Teo Lico, making the score, 1-7. In the 94thth minute of the game Rui Sá who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Errecaborda AFC's Teo Lico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teo Lico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Sá in the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Esquadrão Lusitano had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
