After 6 played minutes Cartero de Agronomia F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Eduino. Benito Guter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeff Clemons in the 12th minute of play. Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Evaristo Weterio pulled a muscle in his back after 16 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Stacey Eason's late challenge caught a Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stacey Eason helped the player get up and apologised. Stacey Eason hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute Stacey Eason shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Guter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Benito Guter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeff Clemons in the 20th minute of play. Blaine Creech hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Fabricio Sesuldo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, River tu grato nombre's Stacey Eason got a free kick in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeff Clemons in the 34th minute of play forced Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s goalkeeper Benito Guter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Clemente Pere reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jayson Burnett. The goal made the score 1-0. David Dunixi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Jayson Burnett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Cartero de Agronomia F.C. getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Clemente Pere hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celestino Chayo made a kick off. Marcelo Laurentzi charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelo Laurentzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jayson Burnett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Laurentzi in the 66th minute of play. If Celestino Chayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s David Dunixi got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute, David Dunixi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. River tu grato nombre's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
