Tadeusz Chodzinski hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Facopo FBPA's Reginaldo Linhares got a free kick in the 28th minute. Facopo FBPA's Enio Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeff Clemons in the 31st minute of play. Jayson Burnett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitório Bueno in the 33rd minute of play. In the 39th minute Stacey Eason shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enio Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Facopo FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Jeff Clemons came free, but Enio Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Fernandão Aparecido made the kick off in the second half. If Vitório Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Jeff Clemons made a precise shot to the right of Enio Trigo. Facopo FBPA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 60 minutes into the match, Facopo FBPA's goalkeeper Enio Trigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeff Clemons.
