Alvaro Elia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronan Marler having to make a save. When Rachid Baba Ali Mohammadi fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Death Ducks's protests and gave Rachid Baba Ali Mohammadi a yellow card for diving instead. Rachid Baba Ali Mohammadi hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Alvaro Elia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ronan Marler came out and tried to block the shot, but Alvaro Elia slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. Jamal Yeo hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Alvaro Elia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 13 played minutes Real Death Ducks got a freekick which was hit by Jamal Yeo. Celestiales's Isidoro Javiero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rachid Baba Ali Mohammadi in the 16th minute of play. Isidoro Javiero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keanu Sawyer in the 20th minute of the match. After 21 minutes, Jamal Yeo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Death Ducks and the Celestiales players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute, Jamal Yeo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Alvaro Elia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 26 minutes, Luciano Astigar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Celestiales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luciano Astigar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alvaro Elia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Ronan Marler made a huge save. When Alvaro Elia came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Celestiales fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvaro Elia couldn't finish the play. Ronan Marler made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Luciano Astigar sent off a good shot on target. Real Death Ducks's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Alvaro Elia scored to the left of an out of position Ronan Marler, making the score, 2-0. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Death Ducks's goalkeeper Ronan Marler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvaro Elia got free with Ronan Marler in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Real Death Ducks made a substitution. Dan Lancaster replaced Anthony Cahill. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Celestiales were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Real Death Ducks's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Damaso Donzel took the corner. The corner led Celestiales's Damaso Donzel to fire away a dangerous shot which Ronan Marler despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Alvaro Elia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Real Death Ducks's Bart Ryder was substituted for Keanu Sawyer. Alvaro Elia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ronan Marler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Elia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronan Marler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Elia in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Narciso Bladi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 71 played minutes Real Death Ducks got a freekick which was hit by Jamal Yeo. If Alvaro Elia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 78 minutes into the match, Celestiales's Alvaro Elia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronan Marler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Real Death Ducks's Maxi Mus in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Celestiales's goalie prevented a goal. After 81 minutes Celestiales's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rachid Baba Ali Mohammadi who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Real Death Ducks's Rachid Baba Ali Mohammadi to fire away a dangerous shot which Isidoro Javiero despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Real Death Ducks booed when Celestiales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Bladi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rachid Baba Ali Mohammadi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Isidoro Javiero. Celestiales's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Bart Ryder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Alvaro Elia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Celestiales's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Elia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronan Marler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 95 played minutes Real Death Ducks got a freekick which was hit by Jamal Yeo. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Celestiales had played much better football throughout.
