The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Heriberto Walton made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Jørg Heichendorff sent off a good shot on target. After 15 minutes of play, Sonstorps Fotboll's Rune Tönnberg made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Heriberto Walton was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carl Utfal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Séverin Dent in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute of the match Chang Beckman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carl Utfal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Séverin Dent in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carl Utfal saved Sonstorps Fotboll from getting behind. Heriberto Walton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rune Tönnberg in the 23rd minute of play. Taavet Rannik succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 25th playminute. A hard shot 30 in the game by Rune Tönnberg from a close distance when the talented Heriberto Walton managed to make a qualified save. Vancouver Reds's players were relieved. After 31 minutes, Séverin Dent made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sonstorps Fotboll's Carl Utfal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vancouver Reds's Heriberto Walton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Vancouver Reds from getting a goal against them. Carl Utfal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Séverin Dent in the 38th minute of the match. If Sercan Refet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sercan Refet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Heriberto Walton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Séverin Dent to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Taavet Rannik cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Heriberto Walton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Taavet Rannik put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Heriberto Walton. If Jørg Heichendorff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Taavet Rannik took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Heriberto Walton. Heriberto Walton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Rune Tönnberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 80 minutes into the match, Rune Tönnberg notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Vancouver Reds's Heriberto Walton. Heriberto Walton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Heriberto Walton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rune Tönnberg went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-1 was the resulting score. In the 88th minute Sercan Refet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heriberto Walton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Jørg Heichendorff left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sonstorps Fotboll fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-1. After 95 played minutes Sonstorps Fotboll got a freekick which was hit by Arne Brummer.
