Spectators: 7702 (Terracing: 5778, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 153) 5 minutes into the game, Rosenborg's Daniele Ramundo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Radoslaw Miarka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Dario Barberio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kacper Figlewski in the 8th minute of the match. Radoslaw Miarka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrico Panino, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. With a little luck, Astral's Radoslaw Miarka got control of the ball when Florian Bulla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Enrico Panino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Astral's goalkeeper Radoslaw Miarka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florian Bulla. Rosenborg's Dario Barberio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofil Tyskie in the 26th minute of play. After some careless play in the Rosenborg defense, Teofil Tyskie kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dario Barberio. The Rosenborg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dario Barberio should have stopped the shot. In the 29th match minute, Astral was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kazimierz Karanowski to maneuver through the defense. Dario Barberio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofil Tyskie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Dino Cieri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dario Barberio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyprian Jajko in the 43rd minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniele Ramundo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniele Ramundo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Radoslaw Miarka read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. After 54 minutes, Borys Skaradowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Astral and the Rosenborg players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd minute, one of Astral:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Astral. Daniele Ramundo did an outstanding performance 56 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 2-1 to the right of an irritated Radoslaw Miarka in the goal. Radoslaw Miarka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniele Ramundo's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Dino Cieri hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, Wincenty Rydz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dario Barberio, 2-2. Radoslaw Miarka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Bulla in the 64th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Astral's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Bulla came free, but Radoslaw Miarka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Biagio Stellato fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rosenborg's protests and gave Biagio Stellato a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Astral booed when Rosenborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Biagio Stellato didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rosenborg's Aurelio Di Febo was substituted for Diego Zoccali. After 77 played minutes Rosenborg got a freekick which was hit by Biagio Stellato. Dario Barberio acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 78th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Wincenty Rydz. Dario Barberio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofil Tyskie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Astral's Radoslaw Miarka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florian Bulla in the 85th minute of play. If Teofil Tyskie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute Daniele Ramundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radoslaw Miarka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Astral's Radoslaw Miarka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniele Ramundo in the 98th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
