An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruud Reinders in the 20th minute of play forced U. de Tarapacá's goalkeeper Kåre Nochev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kåre Nochev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael van Zeggeren, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. U. de Tarapacá's Kåre Nochev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael van Zeggeren in the 21st minute of play. José Julio Almi got in the 39th minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Maximino Cristofanini and thus it was 2-1. Juan José J.J. could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Maximino Cristofanini made a huge save. Maximino Cristofanini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan José J.J., even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Son Adam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ruud Reinders made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, U. de Tarapacá's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael van Zeggeren came free, but Kåre Nochev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, U. de Tarapacá's Juan José J.J. nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximino Cristofanini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 71st minute of the match, Robert Ramzinski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kåre Nochev saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, U. de Tarapacá's Kåre Nochev got control of the ball when Ruud Reinders tried to sneak it across the goal line.
