Gracie Barra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vodka Stars 1949 the free kick. Flavinho Koehler kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Oséias Aguiar hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The supporters of Vodka Stars 1949 booed when Gracie Barra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Pirani didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th match minute, Vodka Stars 1949 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlitos Garzon to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Epifanio Alabern took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Leopoldo Queirós to make any attempt to save it. When Gracie Barra's Enio do Valle in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Fidel Prieto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enio do Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vodka Stars 1949's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Thinlay Machado was slow to take the kick. During this time Gracie Barra's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Gracie Barra's corner Doni Ramalho fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fidel Prieto quite easily take care of the ball. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Doni Ramalho sped through Vodka Stars 1949's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fidel Prieto. Epifanio Alabern kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. A collision led to Gracie Barra getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Doni Ramalho hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enio do Valle in the 46th minute of play forced Vodka Stars 1949's goalkeeper Fidel Prieto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Epifanio Alabern was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Gracie Barra booed when Vodka Stars 1949 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thiti Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. If Thinlay Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. In the 65th minute of the match Thiti Machado sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fidel Prieto skillfully saved the ball. Leopoldo Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlitos Garzon, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Enio do Valle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Fidel Prieto made a huge save. The supporters of Vodka Stars 1949 booed when Gracie Barra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Pirani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enio do Valle in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidel Prieto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leopoldo Queirós came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Vodka Stars 1949's Carlitos Garzon. But to his dismay, Carlitos Garzon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Epifanio Alabern might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leopoldo Queirós. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Epifanio Alabern ran back to his position shaking his head. Fidel Prieto made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Enio do Valle sent off a good shot on target. In the 89th minute, Thiago Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 91 played minutes Gracie Barra got a freekick which was hit by Enio do Valle. Enio do Valle's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 96thth minute, Fidel Prieto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Doni Ramalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
