The audience thought a goal was coming when Enio do Valle got free with Maximino Cristofanini in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gracie Barra's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Thinlay Machado in the 4th minute. Maximino Cristofanini was a little too slow when Enio do Valle got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 12th minute Ruud Reinders shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gracie Barra were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Buitenhout FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Thinlay Machado took the corner. Leopoldo Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iwo Wietrzychowski in the 20th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Ruud Reinders had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leopoldo Queirós. Gracie Barra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ruud Reinders was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Maximino Cristofanini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enio do Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, Gracie Barra's Thinlay Machado got a free kick in the 28th minute. Doni Ramalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leopoldo Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Ramzinski, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Leopoldo Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iwo Wietrzychowski in the 38th minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enio do Valle was the one to do the kick off. Son Adam was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 61 minutes into the match. In the 62nd match minute, Buitenhout FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Son Adam to maneuver through the defense. When Flavinho Koehler came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Gracie Barra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavinho Koehler couldn't finish the play. After 64 minutes of play, Gracie Barra's Thiti Machado made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximino Cristofanini was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maximino Cristofanini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enio do Valle in the 68th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Enio do Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot. It was Flavinho Koehler who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Buitenhout FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Ruud Reinders hit a great ball. Buitenhout FC's Maximino Cristofanini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thiti Machado in the 83rd minute of play. In the 90th minute, Robert Ramzinski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute of the match Flavinho Koehler shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maximino Cristofanini showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Buitenhout FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Gracie Barra from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
