U. de Tarapacá's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Julio Almi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, José Julio Almi managed to get in a good position for a shot. U. de Tarapacá's supporters rose to their feet, but José Julio Almi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dida Brasil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th match minute, U. de Tarapacá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Bermúdez to maneuver through the defense. Dida Brasil was a little too slow when José Julio Almi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 2-0. If José Julio Almi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juan José J.J. stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. José Julio Almi took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dida Brasil. Dida Brasil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 62 minutes into the match, PREZULO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan José J.J. came free, but Dida Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, U. de Tarapacá's Juan José J.J. nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dida Brasil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Renan Mota hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Bermúdez in the 72nd minute of play forced PREZULO FC's goalkeeper Dida Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The U. de Tarapacá fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. José Julio Almi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dida Brasil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by PREZULO FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. José Julio Almi was slow to take the kick. During this time U. de Tarapacá's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that José Julio Almi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dida Brasil quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 94 played minutes U. de Tarapacá got a freekick which was hit by Paco Raab. The supporters of PREZULO FC booed when U. de Tarapacá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonso Venturino didn't get a good kick on the ball.
