But to his dismay, Carlitos Garzon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Oliverios Mendez hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. August Rybergs short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Fidel Prieto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 31 played minutes Vodka Stars 1949 got a freekick which was hit by Celestino Duarte. If August Ryberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Mikael Rudqvist had in the 82ndth minute some difficulties stopping Santos Valladolid's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 86thth minute of the game August Ryberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vodka Stars 1949's Fidel Prieto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mikael Rudqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prometeo Perpiñán, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
