Spectators: 7696 (Terracing: 5773, Seating: 1770, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Epifanio Alabern started the match with the kick off. Epifanio Alabern's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Maximino Cristofanini firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 12th minute Ruud Reinders shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Prieto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fran Cartagenas short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Maximino Cristofanini to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Maximino Cristofanini was a little too slow when Prometeo Perpiñán got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. If Teodosio Johans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximino Cristofanini made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Fran Cartagena sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Buitenhout FC booed when Vodka Stars 1949 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prometeo Perpiñán didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Vodka Stars 1949 getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Fran Cartagena hit a great ball. Maximino Cristofanini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlitos Garzon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximino Cristofanini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Epifanio Alabern in the 42nd minute. Robert Ramzinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Fidel Prieto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fidel Prieto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Ramzinski in the 47th minute of play.

The wind increased when Ruud Reinders made the kick off in the second half. Buitenhout FC's Maximino Cristofanini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Alabern in the 51st minute of play. In the 54thth minute of the game Carlitos Garzon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buitenhout FC's Maximino Cristofanini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carlitos Garzon's late challenge caught a Buitenhout FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlitos Garzon helped the player get up and apologised. Vodka Stars 1949's Fidel Prieto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koos Alberts in the 56th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Vodka Stars 1949's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Ramzinski came free, but Fidel Prieto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Ramzinski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fidel Prieto made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Ruud Reinders sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th minute Epifanio Alabern shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Cristofanini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruud Reinders got free with Fidel Prieto in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Buitenhout FC were furious when Son Adam was red carded, 89 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Buitenhout FC! Fidel Prieto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruud Reinders in the 96th minute of play.
