Gláuber Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Paulo Txatxu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Didi Mattos's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Floresta Club U18's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Sotil came free, but Hudson de Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Q. T. I. booed when Floresta Club U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agnaldo Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Floresta Club U18's Gláuber Abreu got a free kick in the 40th minute. If German Veto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Floresta Club U18's goal looked a bit too open when Delmiro Macerio came free, but Hudson de Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Nestor Chap made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Q. T. I.'s zone, Dino Saraiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Txatxu came out of the goal and Dino Saraiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Floresta Club U18's Gláuber Abreu got a free kick in the 58th minute. Dino Saraiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 66 played minutes Q. T. I. got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Mercurio. Laureano Mercurio hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Q. T. I.'s zone, Didi Mattos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Txatxu came out of the goal and Didi Mattos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Q. T. I. were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Floresta Club U18's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jaime Menendo took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Delmiro Macerio heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After having played for 77 minutes, Nestor Chap managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Q. T. I.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Nestor Chap was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Q. T. I.'s Paulo Txatxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Didi Mattos in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermegildo Sotil in the 83rd minute of play forced Floresta Club U18's goalkeeper Hudson de Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nestor Chap received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hudson de Souza came out and tried to block the shot, but Nestor Chap slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 84th minute. Q. T. I.'s Rolando Su was substituted for Lázaro Haitz. Nestor Chap blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hudson de Souza having to make a save. If Dino Saraiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
