The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the game, JEMBer UTara's Chi Bay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jaroslav Mlejnek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 11 played minutes FC Chorchoj got a freekick which was hit by Pavel Bárta. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chi Bay in the 14th minute of play forced FC Chorchoj's goalkeeper Jaroslav Mlejnek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaroslav Mlejnek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stevanus Avianto, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 21 played minutes FC Chorchoj got a freekick which was hit by Pavel Bárta. Mekki Pink showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Obdržálek in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Panák in the 33rd minute of play forced JEMBer UTara's goalkeeper Mekki Pink to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Chorchoj's Jaroslav Mlejnek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chi Bay in the 36th minute of play. Stevanus Avianto charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stevanus Avianto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Chorchoj booed when JEMBer UTara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stevanus Avianto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vincent Obdržálek made a kick off. After a rather tough play, FC Chorchoj's Michal Kubiš got a free kick in the 50th minute. 56 minutes into the match, FC Chorchoj's Martin Samec sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mekki Pink narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jaroslav Mlejnek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chi Bay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in FC Chorchoj's zone, Stevanus Avianto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaroslav Mlejnek came out of the goal and Stevanus Avianto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute, Vincent Obdržálek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Chorchoj fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. JEMBer UTara's Mekki Pink played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petr Šícha in the 93rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, JEMBer UTara's Bintang Budiono got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
