Spectators: 7728 (Terracing: 5797, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 154) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Michael De Potter made the kick off which started today's match. Rickard Ugla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vincent Dekeyser read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. In the 14th minute Mike Vandamme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wang Cheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kaj Lundqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 18th match minute, Gärsnäs BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenneth Albohm to maneuver through the defense. After 19 played minutes Gärsnäs BF got a freekick which was hit by Kenneth Albohm. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michael De Potter in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wang Cheng prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Gärsnäs BF's Bo-Erik Skröder got a free kick in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, Gärsnäs BF's goal looked a bit too open when Lieven Huybrechts came free, but Wang Cheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 25 minutes, Mike Vandamme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fauna Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mike Vandamme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ingvar Holm hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The supporters of Gärsnäs BF booed when Fauna Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dean De Koq didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickard Ugla in the 35th minute of play forced Fauna Utd's goalkeeper Vincent Dekeyser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vincent Dekeyser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rickard Ugla in the 37th minute of play. Wout Rosbach hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Vincent Dekeyser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rickard Ugla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rickard Ugla to make the kick off. When Kenneth Albohm came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Gärsnäs BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kenneth Albohm couldn't finish the play. Wang Cheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael De Potter, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After a rather tough play, Fauna Utd's Bernard Vanden Bussche got a free kick in the 57th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rickard Ugla got free with Vincent Dekeyser in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wang Cheng didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lieven Huybrechts went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Mike Vandamme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Wang Cheng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michael De Potter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wang Cheng having to interfere. Kaj Lundqvist's late challenge caught a Fauna Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kaj Lundqvist helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Gärsnäs BF getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Kaj Lundqvist hit a great ball. In the 84th match minute, Fauna Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakob Colpaert to maneuver through the defense. Ingmar Östlund took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vincent Dekeyser. Fauna Utd's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Rickard Ugla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaj Lundqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
