In the 2nd minute Lieven Huybrechts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Pelagius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the game, Mike Vandamme was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fauna Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Reconquistense FC the free kick. A collision led to Fauna Utd getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Mike Vandamme hit a great ball. Michael De Potter had several of the Reconquistense FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 11 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Francisco Pelagius as he didn't even see the shot coming. Vincent Dekeyser didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lino Madeo went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Francisco Pelagius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Van de kauter in the 17th minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Fauna Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mike Vandamme to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Reconquistense FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Silvestre Joanes hit a great ball. Reconquistense FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Mike Vandamme scored to the left of an out of position Francisco Pelagius, making the score, 3-2. Lieven Huybrechts scored 4-2 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Francisco Pelagius, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 44 played minutes Fauna Utd got a freekick which was hit by Jozef van Elderen. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-2 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Fauna Utd's Bernard Vanden Bussche got a free kick in the 59th minute. Mario Rodriguez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vincent Dekeyser. Fauna Utd's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Mattias Van de kauter fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fauna Utd's protests and gave Mattias Van de kauter a yellow card for diving instead. Mattias Van de kauter hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Fauna Utd's Carl Van Hautvinck got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Isaac Asur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67thth minute of the game Mattias Van de kauter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Reconquistense FC's Francisco Pelagius was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vincent Dekeyser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Asur in the 69th minute of play. Jozef van Elderen kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Fauna Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Madeo came free, but Vincent Dekeyser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute Mattias Van de kauter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Pelagius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mattias Van de kauter in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisco Pelagius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vincent Dekeyser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Madeo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Fauna Utd's Vincent Dekeyser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Asur in the 92nd minute of play. A collision led to Fauna Utd getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Carl Van Hautvinck hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Reconquistense FC's Isaac Asur ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vincent Dekeyser. Vincent Dekeyser yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-3.
