In the 34thth minute of the game Christer Pettersson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gärsnäs BF's Wang Cheng was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A well-hit corner resulted in Christer Pettersson heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Bo-Erik Fernkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wang Cheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christer Pettersson in the 40th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ingmar Östlund during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Gärsnäs BF getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Ingmar Östlund hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Gärsnäs BF's Bo-Erik Skröder got a free kick in the 45th minute. Wang Cheng stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christer Pettersson's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Christer Pettersson took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Wang Cheng to make any attempt to save it.
