When Fauna Utd's Lieven Huybrechts in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Black Rose 1979's goalie prevented a goal. 10 minutes into the match, Fauna Utd's Mike Vandamme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baldomero Guillem narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Michael De Potter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baldomero Guillem having to make a save. Jakob Colpaert was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 16 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fauna Utd fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! Vincent Dekeyser went to the wrong direction when Silvio Llope was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Baldomero Guillem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mike Vandamme, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Fauna Utd's goalkeeper Vincent Dekeyser had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvio Llope. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvio Llope in the 37th minute of play forced Fauna Utd's goalkeeper Vincent Dekeyser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baldomero Guillem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willem-Jan Paelemans, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 39th match minute, Fauna Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mattias Van de kauter to maneuver through the defense. The wind increased when Silvio Llope made the kick off in the second half. In the 61st match minute, Fauna Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wout Rosbach to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute of the match Marcos Bladi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vincent Dekeyser showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mattias Van de kauter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Guillem having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Fauna Utd's Lieven Huybrechts slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Baldomero Guillem. That made the score 1-1 after 72 minutes of play. In the 82nd minute, Enzo-Nicolás Pérez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Black Rose 1979 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. A collision led to Fauna Utd getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Willem-Jan Paelemans hit a great ball. When Mike Vandamme came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Fauna Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mike Vandamme couldn't finish the play. Black Rose 1979 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Fauna Utd for a fine match.
