Péter Temesvári came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by O D M I E Ń C Y ™'s Porfírio Fagundes. But to his dismay, Porfírio Fagundes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Péter Temesvári stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kain Abel's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. With 26 minutes on the clock, Wiktor Brzakala commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 29 minutes into the match, O D M I E Ń C Y ™'s goalkeeper Marioara Matei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dávid Fenyvesi. Péter Temesvári made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Cannavaro in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half O D M I E Ń C Y ™ were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kain Abel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Péter Temesvári showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Porfírio Fagundes in the 54th minute of the match. A collision led to Szittyák SE rege getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Bendegúz Bolla hit a great ball. When O D M I E Ń C Y ™'s Kain Abel in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Szittyák SE rege's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Szittyák SE rege's zone, Fabio Cannavaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Péter Temesvári came out of the goal and Fabio Cannavaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kain Abel got free with Péter Temesvári in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabio Cannavaro kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, O D M I E Ń C Y ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Sal Fabelo came free, but Marioara Matei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 80 minutes, Porfírio Fagundes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. O D M I E Ń C Y ™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Porfírio Fagundes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 87 minutes Szittyák SE rege's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomasz Frenzel who took care of the corner kick. 88 minutes into the match, O D M I E Ń C Y ™'s goal looked a bit too open when John Carew came free, but Marioara Matei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The O D M I E Ń C Y ™ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing O D M I E Ń C Y ™ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
