Spectators: 7707 (Terracing: 5782, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 153) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Basarab Oneț got the match started through his kick off. Adolfo Abar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sal Fabelo in the 3rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nechifor Brad got free with Péter Temesvári in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adolfo Abar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sal Fabelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basarab Oneț sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers John Carew in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adolfo Abar saved FC Maci -MM- from getting behind. When Szittyák SE rege's John Carew, in the 14th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Szittyák SE rege. John Carew recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 23 minutes, Basarab Oneț made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Szittyák SE rege's Péter Temesvári tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31st minute, Patrik Radnai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Patrik Radnai came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Szittyák SE rege fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrik Radnai couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. John Carew was the one to do the kick off. Garry Kasparov kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. John Carew's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Adolfo Abar firmly grabbed it by the left post. Péter Temesvári showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basarab Oneț in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Mac Allister hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Szittyák SE rege's Sal Fabelo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adolfo Abar. That made the score 1-1 after 72 minutes of play. Adolfo Abar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Carew in the 77th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Basarab Oneț put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Péter Temesvári. Basarab Oneț fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Péter Temesvári having to interfere. Jeromos Balogh kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Péter Temesvári took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cezar Boia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Maci -MM- were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Szittyák SE rege's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cezar Boia took the corner. After taking down the ball on FC Maci -MM-'s corner Cezar Boia fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Péter Temesvári quite easily take care of the ball. Dávid Fenyvesi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Abar having to interfere. In the 95th minute Cezar Boia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Péter Temesvári saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. FC Maci -MM- were victorious despite being under pressure from Szittyák SE rege for much of the match.
