Spectators: 7659 (Terracing: 5746, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 152) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edmundo Dos Santos kicked off to start the match. Guillermo Timo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Palermo in the 6th minute of play. Ivan Bernad blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guillermo Timo having to make a save. Bernardino Pabla made in the 9th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Bernardino Pabla. 14 minutes into the match, Zurdo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Bernad came free, but Guillermo Timo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to LTA FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ivan Bernad hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, Ivan Bernad fired away a hard free kick towards the goal. Guillermo Timo moved to his left, but didn't have to make a save as the ball went out of bounds. Ivan Bernad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guillermo Timo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Dos Santos got free with Arsenio Maiorga in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 minutes into the game, Bernardino Pabla threw the ball into play from the sideline. LTA FC's Arsenio Erico quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, Zurdo FC's Bernardino Pabla got a free kick in the 28th minute. Guillermo Timo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Bernad, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. When Gregorio Castulo came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the LTA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregorio Castulo couldn't finish the play. Bernardino Pabla made in the 36th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Luisito Galindo. The wind increased when Martin Palermo made the kick off in the second half. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Zurdo FC. 0-2 came through a penalty shot after 67 played minutes, when LTA FC:s Gonzalo Txema calmly waited for Zurdo FC:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. LTA FC's Cristian Berdaitz was substituted for Gregorio Castulo. Martin Palermo charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Palermo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bernardino Pabla made in the 79th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Luisito Galindo immediately put the ball in play. Guillermo Timo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Palermo in the 80th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, LTA FC's Virgilio Oton dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. 94 minutes into the match, LTA FC's Martin Palermo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guillermo Timo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 97 minutes, Guillermo Timo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The LTA FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
