After a rather tough play, VILLARREAL UNITED's Ion Sobera got a free kick in the 2nd minute. 3 minutes into the match, VILLARREAL UNITED's goal looked a bit too open when Durval Meireles came free, but Tome Campoamor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Pedro Varela reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tome Campoamor. The goal made the score 1-0. Durval Meireles might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tome Campoamor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Durval Meireles ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Varela during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th minute, Pedro Varela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Arnalt Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. VILLARREAL UNITED's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnalt Ortiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Quadros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. BRASIL.Sp made a substitution. Gláuber de Carvalho replaced Luís Guilherme Vasconcelos. BRASIL.Sp were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after VILLARREAL UNITED's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lon Lanteigne took the corner. Wilson Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cordaro Ramis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee showed Cordaro Ramis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to VILLARREAL UNITED getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Cordaro Ramis hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, BRASIL.Sp's Durval Meireles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tome Campoamor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tome Campoamor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lon Lanteigne in the 86th minute of play. Tome Campoamor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lon Lanteigne went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. BRASIL.Sp were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after VILLARREAL UNITED's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lon Lanteigne took the corner. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. BRASIL.Sp fully deserved thier win.
