When Martin Thomas was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 83 minutes had been played. In the 89thth minute of the game Kauã Hermes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético y Tiro Rqta's Luis Landaburu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matías Britto in the 90th minute of play forced Atlético y Tiro Rqta's goalkeeper Luis Landaburu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Lino Orlondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luis Landaburu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luiz Leme in the 93rd minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match.
