The referee ignored Miau Stars's protests and gave Maurinho da Silva a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Prejun in the 17th minute of play forced Miau Stars's goalkeeper Percival de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Alfredo Rufio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percival de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Percival de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Valiente in the 22nd minute of the match. Percival de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Regis in the 24th minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Miau Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Rocha to maneuver through the defense. Percival de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Valiente, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The Club Atletico Juanita fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Club Atletico Juanita's Jacobo Regis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Miau Stars's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mina Felina in the 53rd minute. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club Atletico Juanita! With an all-out effort, Club Atletico Juanita's Percival de Queirós threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rodolfo Valiente, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Percival de Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Rufio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rubinho Vasconcelos's late challenge caught a Club Atletico Juanita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rubinho Vasconcelos helped the player get up and apologised. Rubinho Vasconcelos hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. If Prudencio Vergaray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Rodolfo Valiente's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Percival de Queirós was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. After 67 minutes, Rodolfo Valiente made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Miau Stars's Percival de Queirós tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Miau Stars's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Rodolfo Valiente scored to the left of an out of position Percival de Queirós, making the score, 1-4. Miau Stars's Percival de Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Valiente in the 86th minute of play. Miau Stars's Percival de Queirós proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Miau Stars from getting a goal against them. In the 97th minute, Antônio Carlos Mello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Club Atletico Juanita could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Miau Stars throughout the match.
