The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Adelino Silveira notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Miau Stars's Percival de Queirós. Percival de Queirós was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hugo Rocha's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Duda Soeiro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Duda Soeiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hugo Rocha's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. When Jefferson Rodrigues came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Aesir FC FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jefferson Rodrigues couldn't finish the play. After 17 played minutes Aesir FC FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Waldir Alcântara. Mina Felina might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Duda Soeiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mina Felina ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 19th minute, Anderson Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th match minute, Miau Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Sousa to maneuver through the defense. When Nestor Varela came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Aesir FC FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestor Varela couldn't finish the play. Percival de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jefferson Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Aesir FC FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Rocha came free, but Duda Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filipe Figueiredo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Duda Soeiro made a huge save. After 32 minutes Aesir FC FSCMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mina Felina who took care of the corner kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hugo Rocha in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Duda Soeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Rocha in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Duda Soeiro saved Aesir FC FSCMZ from getting behind. 41 minutes into the match, Adelino Silveira notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Miau Stars's Percival de Queirós. Percival de Queirós was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Percival de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomás Motta in the 45th minute of play. The Miau Stars players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Aesir FC FSCMZ were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thomás Motta was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Filipe Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duda Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Adelino Silveira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Percival de Queirós was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Jefferson Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percival de Queirós having to interfere. Gilberto Ceresso made in the 70th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Maurinho da Silva however managed to control. Percival de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adelino Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute, Maurinho da Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Percival de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jefferson Rodrigues in the 79th minute of the match. Anderson Sena took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Duda Soeiro. Aesir FC FSCMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Hugo Rocha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Duda Soeiro was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Gilberto Ceresso in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Aesir FC FSCMZ's Erivaldo Tavares. Edson Couto charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edson Couto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 94 played minutes Miau Stars got a freekick which was hit by Edson Couto. Percival de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adelino Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded Aesir FC FSCMZ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Miau Stars.
