Di Yuan Liang started the match with the kick off. Sebastian Zieba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giannis Gounaris having to interfere. In the 4th match minute, FC Karamba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maksymilian Cisek to maneuver through the defense. When Miglius Pikelis fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Karamba's protests and gave Miglius Pikelis a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FC Karamba's Miglius Pikelis got a free kick in the 5th minute. A collision led to FC Karamba getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Miglius Pikelis hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Ramūnas Balčiūnas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Klemensas Makauskas got free with Luiz Fabiano de Lima in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th match minute, FC Karamba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnas Navakas to maneuver through the defense. Giannis Gounaris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Zieba in the 18th minute of the match. Giannis Gounaris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Di Yuan Liang in the 19th minute of play. Marius Gasparaitis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luiz Fabiano de Lima having to make a save. Sebastian Zieba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Di Yuan Liang came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Pombal 2003 F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Di Yuan Liang couldn't finish the play. Giannis Gounaris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Di Yuan Liang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Zieba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giannis Gounaris having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Zieba in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giannis Gounaris saved FC Karamba from getting behind. If Di Yuan Liang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Di Yuan Liang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Giannis Gounaris was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Giannis Gounaris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Zieba, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The FC Karamba players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pombal 2003 F.C. were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Klemensas Makauskas to strike the kick off in the second half. Luiz Fabiano de Lima stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Klemensas Makauskas's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute, Hermínio Moraes fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Giannis Gounaris, passed just outside the right post. Sebastian Zieba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Fabiano de Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddi Ramkilde in the 59th minute of the match. Sebastian Zieba charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Zieba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Karamba booed when Pombal 2003 F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Zieba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Di Yuan Liangs short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Giannis Gounaris to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Hermínio Moraes got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Giannis Gounaris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Onur Candar in the 68th minute of play. Luiz Fabiano de Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klemensas Makauskas in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Erikas Rasiukas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Hermínio Moraes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Giannis Gounaris narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Di Yuan Liang scored 0-3 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giannis Gounaris, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Di Yuan Liang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute Di Yuan Liang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giannis Gounaris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Fabiano de Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddi Ramkilde in the 82nd minute of play. After 82 minutes of play, FC Karamba's Eddi Ramkilde made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Fabiano de Lima was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sebastian Zieba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Giannis Gounaris made a huge save. In the 87th minute, Di Yuan Liang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Giannis Gounaris was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Di Yuan Liang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giannis Gounaris having to interfere.
