Spectators: 7688 (Terracing: 5767, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 153) After a rather tough play, Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Anko Tzingilev got a free kick in the 4th minute. The supporters of Varennes booed when Lokomotiv Plovdiv was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélder Lago didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute, Oliver Shirley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anko Tzingilev hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the last second Brice Leach throw himself and got hold of the ball when Galin Metzov in the 19thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 23 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Plovdiv's goal looked a bit too open when Randell McCullough came free, but Lyuben Chuturkov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doncho Sarachev got free with Brice Leach in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Lyuben Chuturkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Randell McCullough in the 33rd minute of play. Vasko Chochkov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Brice Leach came out and tried to block the shot, but Vasko Chochkov slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 41st minute. Lyuben Chuturkov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ellsworth Lindsay went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The Lokomotiv Plovdiv players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Varennes were winning 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ellsworth Lindsay to strike the kick off in the second half. Lyuben Chuturkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ellsworth Lindsay, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. Simon Wells hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loic Deal in the 52nd minute of play forced Lokomotiv Plovdiv's goalkeeper Lyuben Chuturkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Ganchev hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Lyuben Chuturkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Randell McCullough in the 60th minute of play. Ellsworth Lindsay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Lyuben Chuturkov made a huge save. 74 minutes into the game, Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Dobrin Mishev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brice Leach made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. If Simon Wells had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lyuben Chuturkov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Loic Deal in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute, Ellsworth Lindsay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Varennes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. 85 minutes into the game, Ellsworth Lindsay recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lyuben Chuturkov. Ellsworth Lindsay showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5. Lyuben Chuturkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Randell McCullough, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brice Leach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasko Chochkov in the 94th minute of the match. Varennes's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
