After some careless play in the Cougars FC defense, Salvador Braswell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romeo Pedroso. The Cougars FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romeo Pedroso should have stopped the shot. Brice Leach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Aimar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17thth minute of the game Lorenzo Aimar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Varennes's Brice Leach was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 24th minute Ellsworth Lindsay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Pedroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 29 played minutes Varennes got a freekick which was hit by Loic Deal. A collision led to Cougars FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Teodosio Sendoa hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, Ellsworth Lindsay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Varennes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 40 minutes into the game, Ellsworth Lindsay recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Romeo Pedroso. Ellsworth Lindsay showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Lorenzo Aimar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lorenzo Aimar to make the kick off. With his leg Brice Leach managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when Cougars FC's Lorenzo Aimar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Brice Leach stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lorenzo Aimar's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Brice Leach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Aimar in the 58th minute of the match. In the 63rd of the match, Lorenzo Aimar tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Brice Leach got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 63rd minute, Inocencio Bernabel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romeo Pedroso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loic Deal, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Varennes reached it. A collision led to Varennes getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Ellsworth Lindsay hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute Randell McCullough shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Pedroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ellsworth Lindsay in the 75th minute of play forced Cougars FC's goalkeeper Romeo Pedroso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Ovidio Luken managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cougars FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ovidio Luken was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brice Leach breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cougars FC's Romeo Pedroso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loic Deal in the 78th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cougars FC's Gualterio Pio got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 82ndth minute of the game Ellsworth Lindsay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cougars FC's Romeo Pedroso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Ellsworth Lindsay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romeo Pedroso was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Ellsworth Lindsay sped through Cougars FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Romeo Pedroso. Fabio Artal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
